The problem
Every rim that comes in for repair has to be traced back to its order, and its damage recorded for the report.
What I built
A two-stage pipeline. YOLO finds the identification code on the rim and a fine-tuned PaddleOCR model reads it, tracing the rim to its order. A damage recognition module generates the inspection report.
I worked on site with Hjulfix in Denmark to deploy it, resolving edge cases against real-world imagery.
